With the Lok Sabha elections getting closer, Gujarat’s decision to evict farmers of others States, including some Sikhs who have been cultivating lands in Kutch for decades, speaks about the much noise, confusion, excitement and activity in the politics.In fact, the matter, which has gone to court, came under spotlight after the BJP made Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi its campaign chief for the general election.

The farmers in Gujarat alleged that the attackers enjoyed political patronage but the authorities did nothing to stop their forcible eviction from their legally owned land.Kadyan Khap International convener Naresh Kadyan and Sardar Sukhdev Singh Randhawa, President, Saheed Udham Singh Sewa Sadan, Faridabad moved petition before the NHRC, President Secretariat along with the Ministry of Home Affairs, to give justice to these effected families in Gujarat.

Their demands include, amend the Bombay Tenancy and Agricultural Lands Act, 1958 to support the rights of all effected families in Gujrat, second give para military forces status to all these families, as they work to protect our border, third advise for Narender Modi to learn from Haryana, how to rule and resolve the issue?

Abhishek Kadyan, Media Adviser through an email to Punjabnewsexpress.com informed that Miss Sukanya Kadyan has also registered a complaint with the Ministry of Minority Affairs on October 29 acknowledged by Dr.Yash PalSingh, Joint Secretary.
