QUICK-100: What’s in a name?

Do you know, sometimes audacious questions are asked… yes, it happened with me too. Why you have signed in Urdu? Once to my daughter named Shabina – Are you Muslims? My reply to first question was – I have just learned Urdu language and passed Urdu Amoz class and I love the language written in ornamental design.  To second question – She told, No.  What’s in a name? My papa has given me this name taking from character of a doctor from some Pakistan serial. I don’t know as to why such questions are asked. Language and names do have meaning and background.
