Politics via Holy Places

Politics via Holy Places

February 17, 2022:

In Punjab, this time during Assembly Elections -2022, the politics is via Holy Places by playing the emotional cards.
Around 34 seats are reserved for SC where the voting percentage is more than 30 percent. Only these seats decide the formation of a government. This is the reason that CM Channi has been made Emotional CM’s face this time. SAD has announced to form Dalit Dy CM this time. Congress won only 21 seats during the last elections from SC seats and during the last three elections, the party which won more than 60 percent seats, formed the government. During the last elections, SAD after winning 9 seats from these 34 seats – and a total of 20, SAD also snatched the opposition.
This time, the farmers are also in the field after the yearlong agitation for repealing of three laws but did not get sufficient time to project themselves as political candidates. They returned to their parties after winning the Delhi agitation.
AAP too has come up in Punjab with Kejriwal face to work on the pattern on of Delhi government and this party looks to be a Natural Gainer.
