When eyes speak louder than words….
When eyes speak louder than words….
One should be very careful about what he thinks in his mind, as your thoughts are the driving force that runs your life. Our mind is not a cage, it’s a garden and it requires cultivating all the time otherwise there will be a stagnation in one’s life. It’s your inner speech, your thoughts that can cause you to be rich or poor, loved or unloved, happy or unhappy, attractive or unattractive, and peaceful or weak. But we are overpowered by the happenings around us. We should not forget that very little is needed to make a happy life as it is all within yourself and it is only your way of thinking despite the fact that things often seem more difficult in our kind than they actually are. Human structure is lucky enough that if you don’t like something; take time to find some other solution. And if you still don’t like the impressive one, try to change the way you think about it.
There is an old saying – Eyes are the windows to the soul – which means, most people can see through someone else by eye contact to have the feeling of stronger bonding regardless of the fact that eyes can
communicate respect, threat, interest, boredom, honesty intimacy, and encouragement as well.
I have seen that when you meet someone, hold their eyes with yours as you listen to their name and their well-being. But do remember one thing holding eye contact too long can embarrass someone as the person may feel threatened too. However, there are no set rules about how long is too long, you can get clues from noticing the other person’s eyes.
It is also important that your eyes are warm and passionate. Audrey Hepburn says, “The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides”. So, eye contact is actually a way of making a person have a feeling of affection for you. Eye contact is also like projecting some kind of emotion and to hypnotize people.
Frankly speaking, normally it is said that charity begins at home as it is a person’s first responsibility for the needs of their own family and friends but I feel that it should end there as certain people out of your four-walled house have genuine needs by virtue of their circumstances and can’t afford certain things in their life and switched over to begging because of justifiable physical problems.
The other day I was asked to distribute the blankets to the needy persons during this chilly wind season who spend their nights on the roadside shelters. When I handed over the warmer to a lady, who looked to be really in need of it, blessed me by keeping her hand on my head, giving me a feeling of security for the rest of my life with her blessings without uttering a single word. On having eye contact with her, I could feel that her eyes were speaking louder than words.
