Ferozepur (Punjab), March 8, 2024:

Ferozepur, October 29, 2023:  In a post-retire life, a local citizen Tilak Raj Airy – a retired LIC officer in March 2000 collected the books written ‘Ram’ ‘Ram’ in 55 crore times by the devotees. He inspires people to write ‘Ram naam’ and gets a book printed for this.  He distributes it for free, buys pens and gives them.  He also collects the book after the completion of ‘Ram naam’.

The moment I entered his room, a photo of his wife, who left for a heavenly abode, a few years back, the couplet written under the frame expresses his emotions of daily remembering her – Bhigti hai palke ab bhi kabhi kabhi kar meri, Tujhe bhul jane ka dikhava har roj nahi hota.

During a meeting with him, Airy said, he has now planned to deposit these books with Ram names in Ram Sathili (Parikrma) at a suitable place given for the purpose at the Radha Krishan Mandir (also known as Hanuman Mandir).  Almost everything is finalized and all the books will be deposited soon, over a ceremony, in the presence of Lord Ram devotees.

Airy said, so far he has received back the books with ‘Lord Ram’ names, from several persons with 55 crore and before depositing in the Ram Sathili (Parikrma), my target is to touch 60 crore.

There are different views about writing the word ‘Ram’ repeatedly in a book and certain books with different coloured pens in many designs. One said I do not believe in writing Sri Ram as this will not bring you any happiness. Just keep reciting his name whenever you are free. That would bring you luck. Have the habit of chanting his name. Another person thought that it was purely up to one’s faith and beliefs. In case an individual develops a steadfast belief that writing the name of God many times will enable him/her to achieve something, then let it be so.

When asked, what is the motto behind it, Airy said, “While chanting Ram Naam makes you free from your destructive energy. It develops constructive positive energy flow in you. Similarly, I feel writing ‘Ram’ too gives internal energy to do well”.
