“The Power of Connections”
A father tells his son, “You will marry the girl I choose.” The son says, “No!” But when he hears she’s Bill Gates’ daughter, he quickly agrees.
The father then calls Bill Gates, proposing the marriage. Gates refuses, but the father insists, saying his son is the CEO of the World Bank. Gates reconsiders.
Next, the father approaches the World Bank President, asking him to appoint his son as CEO. When he refuses, the father reveals that his son is Bill Gates’ son-in-law. The President agrees.
Moral: In a world where connections hold power, titles often pave the way to success.
