What if –  World Without War

If there is no war, the resources saved could be redirected towards building a peaceful, sustainable world. Instead of destruction, the focus could be on development, helping millions overcome poverty and hunger. Global funds could enhance education, healthcare, and housing, providing opportunities for countless individuals. Moreover, investing in environmental preservation could combat climate change, reducing carbon emissions and fostering a healthier planet. A world without war would not only save lives but also encourage prosperity, enabling humanity to work together toward shared goals. Peace would lay the foundation for a future full of hope and endless possibilities.

Think it over –

  • According to estimates by the United Nations and the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute, if just 10% of global military expenditure is spent on combating hunger, 690 million people could be free from hunger by 2030.
  • As per UNESCO, spending 5% of military expenses on education could provide schooling for 75 million children.
  • The World Health Organization states that using 2% of funds currently spent on wars for healthcare services could offer better health services to 100 million people worldwide.

20 Lakhs
Housing could be provided to 20 lakh families if 0.5% of military spending is allocated to housing.

5 Crores
5 crore tons of carbon dioxide emissions could be reduced if 3% of military expenditure is directed towards environmental efforts.
