Happiness Is The By-product Of Acceptance
Life is full of happiness and tears and we should be strong enough to encash it. It is said that every day is a new day and you will not be able to find happiness if you don’t move on. There is no specific formula for happiness. It comes by virtue of self-contentment, cheerfulness, gladness and pleasure. But if these formulas are applied properly, it will definitely give you the results. And if the results are not accurate or according to your satisfaction, then there are only two options. Either you have not properly understood the formula in these words – contentment, cheerfulness, gladness and pleasure – or you did not apply the formula. If you know the formula and did not apply then even God cannot help you.
Happiness comes and goes. It cannot be permanent with us as we are so involved with the worldly affairs around us. We have the feeling feature in us also. All cannot be happy all the time, so we feel the pulse of others also and those moments are not a part of our happiness.
In fact, our thoughts create a situation for happiness. We get that what we focus upon. It is not something you can postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present only.
You must have seen that happiness is something related to the individual that cannot be shared as friends show their love in times of trouble and not when you are already happy.
The problem with us that we are expecting the happiness to come to you while standing under a mango tree expecting oranges. How is it possible?
Our thoughts create our reality. So find a work that gives you inner satisfaction to provide you happiness. You must have the acceptance power as it is only the tool which can bring you happiness. The art of acceptance is the art of making yourself happy.
It is your attitude which can develop within you the power of acceptance or rejection of the natural laws.
I think parents have to teach their children principles of respect and acceptance to inculcate the real happiness in accepting the things from the childhood.
Mahatma Gandhi has said that happiness is when what you think, what you say and what you do are in harmony. While Sting has quoted that the acceptance of death gives you more of a stake in life, in living life happily, as it should be lived for the moment. It can lead you to certain breakthroughs.
Frankly speaking, happiness and acceptance go side by side. It comes only if we have the accepting power. We can say that Happiness is the by-product of Acceptance. Instead of wishing that life itself customize for your happiness, it is better we should customize our response towards life.
