Happy with my “Decisions then and Distance”

Long back, I have said that making the wrong decision is not wrong but making no decision is a big mistake. Similarly, regarding distance, it has been my point of view that understanding is the shortest between the two. But, decision and distance both are unexplainable when it is said that one can keep a secret if one is dead.

About decisions, I have observed that there is no harm, if you are in a confusion about making any decision, sharing with others to get their opinion to make up your mind. Sometimes, when you alone have to make a decision, it is a fraction of a second to decide while on the road, to avoid an accident or to face the music of a tragic accident.

So far as distance is concerned, one has to cover it to reach the destination. But in real life distance is dangerous from the near ones as it goes on increasing with time.  In a scientific mood, a couple in Punjabi clears it – Je kise nu kujh kehn da irada rkho tan dosto sunan da vi honsla rokho, Bahuta kreeb aaoge tan tut jaoge tusi, darmiyan apne kujh n kujh fansla rkho – If you intend to say something to someone, then friends, dare to listen. If you come too close, you will break up, and keep some distance in between.

The distance between insanity and genius is measured only by the success which could be possible only by taking a right or wrong decision. The distance is nothing when one has a motive and laughter is the closest distance between two people.

One cannot make progress without making decisions and it is also a fact that one is responsible for choices and decisions taken in one’s life.  Once a decision is made, one should stop worrying and start working as it is not always what we know that makes it a good decision.  It is what we do to implement and execute it that makes it a good decision. It is only the decisions that decide destiny and there is no action without taking any decision and every decision you make reflects your evaluation of who you are.

MY DECISION THEN DISTANCE

I recollect an incident when the preacher of one sect – a science-grounded religion, associated me with his sect also but later on, he distanced himself and took a decision to establish another group and asked me to join. But I refused because once I decided to join you, why not ask me before making another group, to which he had no reply and I started keeping a distance from him.   I still hold good ethics but am happy with decisions then and distance.

FRANKLY SPEAKAING

Frankly speaking, sometimes we say the thing and sometimes we keep the thing in our mind. A big difference between judgment and distance is that if you share your mind with someone, then judgments will be made and if you keep the matter in your mind, then distance will be created. Therefore, instead of increasing the distance, share your heart with someone and you will surely get some kind of decision.
