Biggest ‘guru-mantra’ is, never share your secrets with….!!
HARISH MONGA DIDO
There is a famous saying – “Two can keep a secret if one of them is dead”. I had been a lot of thinking over this but taking it very lightly. It could be like this also, taking it any number of persons and secret could be feasible only if all are dead barring one.
But normally, it is also said that there are no secrets to success and the success definitely is the result of preparation, hard work and learning from failures.
One should have a lot of patience and a good digestive system to keep the secrets in life, maybe in business or day to day life. But once if you reveal your secrets to someone, not to share with others and so on, he too passes on to someone else close to him or her, it would be like a wind, which cannot be blamed for revealing the same to the trees.
What I feel is that hiding the secret is one of the worst things in one’s life as it gives you low self-esteem and it would be difficult to reach the peak in your life. In such a situation, one should always be confined to himself and of proud of himself so far as the sensitive issues are concerned.
A human body has many secrets and it does not divulge to anyone except those who have learned to wait and show curiosity to know to know of something important. Managing secrets in life is an art as the human body is strange, flawed and unpredictable.
Many of us will be obsessed with one or the other kind of secret or revelation be it to gossip about friends or ourselves. The most personal information nowadays is of bank data – PW-Pass Word, for the online banking or ATM – Any Time Money for the card of the bank.
I recollect a story of old-timer narrated to me. The Kings used to send the secret messages to the other Kings through tattoo marks by shaving the head of the most trustworthy person. After graving the message on the head, he was kept under strict observation until the hair grows. Then he was sent to deliver the secret message. The King at the receiving end, get his shaved and after reading the message, kill him. But the Kings were kind enough to take care of their families by paying the price for the whole of the life.
David Copperfield has rightly worded that it is the unspoken ethic of all magicians to not to make public the secrets. Perhaps, it is due to the fact that revealing secret all the time will be a threat to his profession.
Frankly speaking, secrets are things we give to others to keep for us, sometimes to those whose faith and silence we have not already tested and for a time, to the tested one. Whatever we do is the product of human brain which is our driving force but exactly how it operates remains one of the biggest mysteries and it seems the more we probe its secrets, the more surprises we find.
Anyhow, the biggest ‘guru-mantra’ is; never share your secrets with anybody, it will destroy you.
