A Lesson in Patience: A Train Story
A young woman boarded a train and noticed a man sitting on her assigned seat. Politely, she checked her ticket and said, “Sir, I believe you are sitting in my seat.”
The man, visibly irritated, pulled out his ticket and shouted, “Look carefully! This is my seat! Are you blind or what?!”
The girl quietly examined his ticket, said nothing more, and calmly stood beside him without further argument.
A few minutes after the train began moving, the girl softly said, “Sir, you’re not on the wrong seat… but you are on the wrong train. This train is headed to Kolkata, and your ticket is for Mumbai.”
Frankly speaking, sometimes, patience speaks louder than arguments. If shouting could solve everything, the world would be ruled by donkeys.
